What I do on Facebook kind of runs counter to what Facebook was originally designed to be. But, as you have probably noticed, with its commercials all over TV about Facebook Groups, Facebook is acknowledging that there are people like me who used to do the old Yahoo Groups and who are interested in serious discussion groups about all sorts of topics, hence, the new emphasis on being discussion list friendly.
