“belief that union with or absorption into the Deity or the absolute, or the spiritual apprehension of knowledge inaccessible to the intellect, may be attained through contemplation and self-surrender.”

That’s it. In a nutshell. Using just one word. The Dragonist is basically a Mystic & the Dragonist’s “Dragon” is no different than the “Cosmic Consciousness” of the Rosicrucians. The Idea of Mysticism is deep. You can’t really unpack it with just a quick dictionary definition. It embraces not just an academic theory but also a whole way of comporting oneself toward Life, the Divine & Other People, as well as one’s own Self.
As the Rosicrucians love to say, “Mysticism Fulfilled is the Mastery of Life.” Pure & Simple. So, it takes years to Practice it & to Let it Happen. It is as much a Devotional Path as it is a Mystical Path or a Celebratory Path or a Learning Path. But it embraces & integrates elements from all of these other apparently diverse & very different Spiritual Paths.
It would be incorrect to say that Mysticism is some kind of Religion. From the standpoint of the Dragonist, the Fundamental Mission of all Religion is the Socialization of Wisdom. And where does the Wisdom come from? Mainly, from the writing of “End of Mission Reports” by the Mystics. But, nowadays, we live in a uniquely DIY culture here in this so-called Post-Modern Age.
Personally, if you ask me, there have only been Two Ages of the Instrumentality of Man on Earth…
The Age of Atlantis, which ended about 5.23 million years ago…
And the Pacific Age [Thank You! OMD!] which has been going on ever since that 5.23 million years ago.
And the Pyramidion Stone was a meteorite that fell to Earth near where the Ancient Greek Temple of Delphi is located & that Pyramidion Stone was made from a new & magickal metal… Thytanium. Kind of like Titanium, only, much stronger & far lighter than even Titanium is. And yes, the Excalibur Sword Legend arose out of the Thytanikan Sword Legend, although there is no hard evidence for this claim, whatsoever.
But I say it anyway because, after all, Truth is a Two-Faced Liar.
And I don’t Believe in Two-Faced Liars.
